Learn How to Lose Weight the Right Way

In addition to being a life coach, I am also a certified weight coach, which means I help women trying to conceive permanently lose the weight they’ve been carrying on their bodies and end their struggle with emotional eating. Most of them have tried to lose the weight before or even gone as far as to lose it all and then gain it all back. When they come to me they have had many experiences in the weight loss world that have shaped how they think about food, their bodies, and their ability to lose the weight. Losing weight is a very personal process and any fab diet or program that explains that it can give you results most likely isn’t considering you. What do you struggle with? To lose weight the right way you must change the way you think about food. Say what? You mean I can’t put in an extra half hour on the treadmill to burn off that cupcake I had at lunch? No, your body doesn’t work like that. The weight you are carrying on your body is directly linked to the food you put into your mouth. The types of food and amounts of food you have eaten are the reasons for the extra pounds on your body. Period.

To be successful in achieving permanent weight loss you have to change the way you think about food, which means you have to change your mind. Your mind is the most powerful tool you have to change your life and without addressing the thoughts you are giving yourself, you will never see the results you want. The mind-body connection is about just that. Establishing a connection and greater awareness of your mind and then your body so that you can make lifestyle changes that serve you in the long run.
