Five Easy Thoughts Contributing To The Quality Of Your Day

Why is it some of us seem to have more good days than bad? Even with all of the knowledge we have about the power of our thinking, the good fortunes of life can simply elude us day to day. Regardless ,there is one thing that is always true: we each control the quality of our days.

How we greet, meet, and complete each day is up to us. Easy to say, but when you are faced with sickness, worry, grief, or depression you may not care about the quality of your day let alone how you are contributing to it. The choice to think a day wonderful or think a day terrible is one you have the freedom to decide, but here are five easy thoughts to come back to when you want to increase the quality of your day.

  • All days are wonderful in direct proportion to the creative energy invested in them. No investment, no return.
  • Even seemingly lousy days can possess hidden wonder. Sometimes all you need is a moment of attitude adjustment to shift your perception of an entire afternoon and move forward into a pleasant evening.
  • Weather does affect your day. Gray, cold, and raining days spent in the office are just as likely to turn out amazing as are sunny days spent lying in a hammock.
  • Your expectation leads to your result. Days expected to be wonderful before they begin turn out to be so much more frequent than days greeted with grumbling.
  • Ultimately it doesn’t matter if a day is good or bad. What matters is what you do with it.

Perhaps the last point is the most significant. If we label a day good or bad isn’t the issue. What really matters is what we decide to do with it. Do we get mired in our negative thinking and stuck or can we take what each day has to offer us and move forward with it?
